You may or may not be aware that Ruth was diagnosed with Breast Cancer some 12 years ago, however after lots of horrible treatment I am pleased to say she was given the all clear last year, with this in mind Breakthrough Breast Cancer is very dear to her heart and every penny we can raise helps fund research into this type of cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ruth is the North Cumbria Representative for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and as part of their fund raising she (we) will be holding a Giant Bake Off / Coffee Morning on Saturday 19th October,at Thursby Parish Hall Nr Carlisle, (Matty Lonning, Carlisle CA5 6PQ) if you are able to give the event a bit of a push, I will be bringing more “bumf”and invitations to be part of the Bake Off( Competition) and to enjoy a sociable morning.
