Travelling to the Shepherds Meet past Wastwater, with the mist hanging onto the top of the fells and the reflections in the lake, was wonderful. Definitely a show to attend next year. |

The show was small but had something of interest to everyone. As well as there being Vintage cars, motor bikes, tractors and engines there were Herdwick sheep, goats, dog show classes, children's sports (for all ages), fell races, terrier races, hound trails, walking sticks, craft stalls and Cumberland and Westmorland-style wrestling plus various trade stands. |

Solway Jaguar was well represented by 10 cars and 1 motor bike. We were made most welcome even though our cars were not all 'Vintage' classification. Graham won his section with his 1957 'Scott' motor bike and Frank was awarded second place in the vintage car section with his 1966 Daimler 2½. |
