Eleven Solway Jaguar Club members' cars took part in the 2009 'Drive It Day, organised by Wigton Motor Club.

Once again there were 3 starting places (Carlisle, Cockermouth and Penrith) and 3 different routes with  each one terminating at the Cumberland Pencil Mill's Car Park in Keswick.  By the time we arrived in Keswick the main car park was full and most of our members were directed to the overspill car park.

There were a wide variety of vehicles, makes and models on display. I estimate about 80 vehicles took part in the event.

It was an excellent start to our 2009 season.
