The Touring Assembly started from The North Lakes Hotel at Penrith, covered a distance of 84 miles and ended at The Inn On The Lake at Glenridding.   

The route took in some of the less well known roads in North Cumbria, moved south via Whinlatter Pass and Thirlmere Lake, climbed over Kirkstone Pass and finished beside Lake Ullswater. 

Graham joined the tour as it passed his home but he thought that four wheels were 2 too many and came on his classic motorcycle.

The event ended with sandwiches and chips followed by a motoring (mainly Jaguar) quiz which was won by Keith Robinson.
