The 'Drive It Day, organised by Wigton Motor Club, was  well supported by members of the Solway Jaguar Club.

There were 3 starting places (Carlisle, Cockermouth and Penrith) and 3 different routes with  each one terminating at Keswick.  The Cumberland Pencil Co's Car Park struggled to accommodate the numerous and various types of vehicle. 

The weather was good and it proved to be a very interesting and enjoyable day out and start to the 2008 season.
