Greenhills Hotel, Wigton
Bryan Gibson’s Driving accuracy test was just
that. Three challenges:
1. Position your car accurately on a marked position for
the nearside front wheel.
2.
Make 180 degree turn on full lock and predict your finished position.
3
Judge the “Squeeze” test from a measured distance without catching your cars
widest point.
An excellent non speed test that measured the driver’s ability regardless of the car tested. (Bryan’s Granddaughter, a learner driver, and the only female competitor trounced many a Porsche and Jag in her Dad’s Diesel Astra van.)

Prize giving. That’s me receiving second
prize.
Won in a car I had only had for six hours!
Not a Jaguar or Porsche, but a Mini Cooper.
