Sunday afternoon turned out to be a Gem of a day, both for the weather and for the content of the visit to Malcolm and Ruth's home. Amongst the exceptional cars and motorbikes on display were Malcolm's outstanding replica Suffolk SS100, his 3.8 MK II and his Series 3 E-Type.
It was fascinating to hear Malcolm talk about how he had built the SS100 over a period of 4 years, and to hear of some of the trials and tribulations encountered on the way. In addition Malcolm also showed us some very interesting slides and photos detailing the intricate construction.
There was one thing that was very obvious to all who attended and that was Malcolm's endless and meticulous attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
We all enjoyed the very kind hospitality provided by Ruth & Malcolm and the opportunity to chat with fellow Club Members in such picturesque surroundings.
We thank Ruth and Malcolm for inviting us to their lovely home and giving us all a wonderful afternoon's entertainment..
